Hi, I am Jord Gui

I graduated university with a Bachelor of Computer Science, majoring in Advanced Computer Science.
I learned how to design algorithms and data structures in order to create software that solves real-world problems.
My final year involved a half-year placement in the Industry Based Learning (IBL) program, where I got the chance to work in a practical, corporate setting.
In my spare time I like to work on coding projects. My main language is Python, but I have also worked with Java, Haskell, C++, HTML, CSS and JavaScript.
I am currently working on becoming a Full Stack developer.

I was first introduced to this line of work during my internship at Transurban, where I had the role of developing and maintaining the company's cloud platform.
My work involved creating automation pipelines and designing solutions using cloud computing. My tech stack involved AWS, Jenkins, Git, Ansible and Docker.
I have recently obtained my first certification as an AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner, and am working on obtaining my first Microsoft Azure certification.

In this Git repository, you will find my solutions to Leetcode problems. Leetcode is a tool for software engineers to use in preparation for technical interviews. I work on these problems to implement and revise my knowledge on algorithms and data structures.

I created this project so that I could make simple edits to my PDF files without the hassle of using paid or dodgy online software. This was done by using the PyPDF library in Python and I referenced the book Automate The Boring Stuff With Python.
